Recruiting Busy People Scare You?

From time to time, the question of  recruiting busy people is brought up during training.

It seems to me that some network marketers are either too scared to approach busy people or they believe that when recruiting busy people, the excuse of being busy holds more weight than other prospects.

In reality, these types of people can and should be the easiest to bring into you business. You can re-read that now and let it sink in.

Why Recruiting Busy People is Essential

It amazes me how many Network Marketers that will go out and attempt to recruit those that are at home all day – doing nothing.

The MLM’ers think that because these people are sitting around doing nothing that they will do something productive with all of that time, like work a business.

Well…that theory is just plain WRONG. They are sitting at home doing nothing for a reason. Whether it is just being lazy, or they don’t have any contacts or they are just plain boring people…a lot of times these “Stay at home” types don’t pan out.

Busy People on the other hand are usually NOT boring people. They aren’t lazy and they have a TON of contacts. The busy ones are the ones that usually have the stongest “WHY” and will do more to reach it.  Once you know that “WHY” , you can show them how your business can help them reach that why more quickly.

How to: Recruiting Busy People

You need to point out to them why you business will fix their constant state of busy. Show them that it is okay to chill out every once in a while.  Show them that being a corporate schmuck, making an “okay” wage, being told to be here, be there, be everywhere isn’t the way that you should be living their lives?

Only crazy people work all day, every day with no chance at financial freedom. Without passive or residual income, you are only trading dollars for hours which should be left to species unable to understand the power of leverage.

The art of recruiting busy people is to show them how they can be financial free and free to make their own schedule. If someone tells you they are way to busy to take on an new business venture say: I get it. I have been there too and living that way sucks.

Life is much easier and the freedom that I have is much more satisfying now that I have money coming in month to month regardless of whether I work my business anymore than I already have.

Explain to them that if they bust their asses for a while in your network marketing company, they they can get paid for the rest of their lives based on the effort they originally put in. Oh…and the only person that can fire them is, well, THEM!

Too busy for massive passive income?

Don’t be afraid to ask that busy person why they work so hard.  They might say “to support their family”. Well, wouldn’t it be cool to support your family while actually spending time with them?

That is the power of a home based business. Growing up with pictures of your kids and family on your desk is much different than spending actual time with them, which, is easily possible with a large residual income.

So if you really look at it, the way of recruiting busy people, is to show them that it can be a lot more stressful to be busy in a big corporation than a network marketing company and you have the answer to that problem.
