Why does an MLM business fail?

I hope that you are part of the 3% of MLM’ers that aren’t failing.

I really do.

But for the other 97% that just “haven’t got it” yet, read below.

Hopefully it makes a light bulb go off in your head and will help you realize that these are the reasons that most MLM business fails:

3 reasons an MLM business fails:

First and foremost:

Procrastination

I know this one all too well.

I am the king of this practice.  My wife has always told me that I am going to put off my own death.

Procrastination is #1 of the 3 reasons businesses fail. Face it..if you can put off recruiting until tomorrow why not?

If you could put off updating your blog until tomorrow, why wouldn’t you. It is so much easier.

If you could make that call that you KNOW you have to make until tomorrow your results will be much better right?

HELL NO!

Stop doing what I find myself doing all the time and just make that call.

Update that blog.

Go to that meeting.

Don’t you always feel better after you actually do it anyway? I know I do.

Once you realize that procrastination leads to failure you will be less inclined to practice it.  The only thing from keeping you from getting started on the important parts of your business is you.

You can change it, believe me. I did.

The second of the 3 reasons an MLM business fails

Upline Ninja’s

So you got into the business on promises of this fantastic upline and great training only to find out you upline are like Ninja’s.

You know that they are there but you can never find them when you need them.

You have to overcome this part of your business.

You are going to find that 99% of all uplines in this business are shitty.

Get over it.

Get on your horse and ride into the research sunset.

Get online, find blogs, read articles and books and stop blaming everyone else.  Everyone else is not going to make you rich.

Most of the time you will not find yourself beneath a MLM guru.

You will have to educate not only yourself about this business and your product, but you are going to be required to educate your downline as well.

Which brings me to my last of the 3 reasons an MLM business fails…..

Your System Sucks.

There really is no quick fix for this.

If they system you follow is stupid…

Well like the old saying goes: “You can’t fix stupid.”

Do your research before you join an MLM.  I can’t tell you how many times so-and-so has come up to me complaining about how they can’t make it in this business.

I ask them what their system is and and is it set up for their success?

they tell me about a cockamamie company that they have signed on with that told them that they are the greatest things since Jesus.

They signed on only to find out that they were full of it and that they were set up to fail in the first place.

How to fix a an MLM business that fails.

If you find yourself in this situation, change it. It’s that simple.

It makes me think of this quote from Jim Rohn;

Don’t wish for things to get better, wish you were better. In order for things to change, first you must change.

Do your research beforehand and you won’t find yourself here.

Now that you have read the 3 reasons an MLM business fails, you can go on to drastic change.

You are educated, determined, and a go getter. Take those traits and go kick some MLM ass.
