If you have been in the Network Marketing business for a long time, you have hit this metaphorical wall at least a couple of times over the years.
For those men and women that are considering network marketing you need to be aware that you WILL hit “The Wall”.
Now that you are aware of the fact that everyone in an MLM has and will hit “The Wall”, you can realize that learning and managing the emotional roller coaster associated with it, is key to your long term success.
Yes, you will find the feeling of jubilation with network marketing, especially when you’re new and you start to enroll a few people under you. Sponsoring people into your down-line is a great feeling and a real accomplishment. It is a feeling like you have never felt before!
However, two challenges will hit most people as they push on with their network marketing efforts.
Challenge #1: The first challenge involves you and as such is internal in nature. When most people join a network marketing company, they are bubbling with so much excitement and they work insanely hard, shooting for the stars to achieve success.
The emotional energy needed to sign up your first recruits and then to keep going and sign up more can be draining. When I say draining, I mean you will start to wonder how the hell you are going to continue.
Some achieve initial success, some don’t.
However, these early results are not necessarily indicative of who will be a star a year or two from now. You could be great at recruiting, kicking ass, signing up like 10 associates for 5 months straight and them BAM!! You find yourself hitting the wall not able to do a damn thing or recruit a single associate.
Take that drained energy from early success followed by slower or no success for several weeks (or months) and you will find your second challenge.
Challenge #2: The second challenge involves your prospects and as such is external in nature. It’s not uncommon to find a network marketer hit by the dreaded one-two “internal energy drain – external sales drought” punch.
These challenges together can really begin to let the air out of the balloon for many if not most people. Now you are asking yourself, why would I join a business that is doom and gloom? Keep reading below for the light at the end of the tunnel.

The cure to breaking through the network marketing “Wall” and managing this emotional roller coaster is all about how you look at your business.
Do you really believe in the product or the company your network marketing represents? You better! Because if you don’t believe in your product and company you don’t have a chance in hell at “making it”.
I also hope that you have a insatiable desire to explode out of the financial ball and chain that burdens you and your family. These are the core reasons people choose to pursue network marketing opportunities.
Unfortunately, and please don’t take this the wrong way, you can care too much! In fact you care so much it’s hurting your efforts and in time may be your network marketing undoing. Believe me when I say, emotional burn out is the number one killer of network marketing hopes and dreams. I have been guilty of this on occasion myself.
To Your Success!
